While Deepika Padukone and Karan Singh Grover were absent from the trailer launch, Hrithik expressed gratitude to Siddharth and his team for making an aerial action film. The Fighter team didn’t actively participate in the extensive promotion of the film. Addressing this, Hrithik mentioned, “Now is the time for our work to speak for us, something I will choose for myself.”

With terrorist activities under control in the Kashmir Valley, the Air Force headquarters has assigned a new and specialized unit, Air Dragons, to respond first to any hostile activities. It includes the best fighter pilots chosen from the Indian Air Force. The story of Fighter revolves around their internal and external battles as they are ready to give everything for the country.

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone work together for the first time in Fighter. After co-starring with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ (2008) and the blockbuster ‘Pathan’ (2023), this is Deepika’s third film with director Siddharth Anand. Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand collaborated on projects like ‘Bang Bang’ (2014) and the 2019 action film ‘War.’
Inclusion of Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi:
Apart from Deepika Padukone, Hrithik, and Anil Kapoor, Fighter also features Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. The movie will be available on January 25, 2024.
Teaser Unveiling in December 2023:
In December 2023, the producers unveiled the official teaser for the film. The teaser showcased the main characters soaring through the skies in their jets, performing aerial stunts. It also teased a special party track and a unique kissing scene between the lead pair Hrithik and Deepika. The teaser concluded on a high note with Hrithik unfurling the tricolor from his aircraft, accompanied by the strains of ‘Sujalam Sufalam.’

Anil Kapoor Talks About His Experience with the Film:
Playing the role of Commanding Officer Rocky in the film, Anil Kapoor mentioned that Fighter taught him discipline. “This has been an unprecedented journey, and I hope it continues even after the release. I’ve learned selflessness and discipline from this movie.”

Hrithik praised the producers for making Fighter on a budget of ₹250 crores and mentioned that it reportedly has heavier action scenes than Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan.’ Thanking the producers, Hrithik said, “Thanks to Ajit and Vayucom for supporting a senseless and humorous perspective and making it powerful. I am incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by people who have given everything for this magnificent cinema. Keep the humility and the courage to give everything (to the film).”

Originally scheduled for release in September 2022, the film got delayed and was rescheduled for January 2023. Alongside Shahrukh Khan’s “Pathan,” directed by Siddharth Anand and another film starring Deepika Padukone, the release date was shifted to September 2023 before deciding on the current date in 2024.
