The upbringing of Veera Venkat Raman, alias Raman (Mahesh Babu), was done by his aunt (Eshwari Rao) after his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishna) abandoned him at a young age, and his father (Jayaram) went to jail. Raman runs a chili business in Guntur, and his attitude is rebellious as he harbors resentment towards his mother. In the midst of this, his mother and grandfather (Prakash Raj) attempt to reconcile by signing a bond paper.

Why did his mother marry another man (Rao Ramesh) after leaving her husband and son Raman?

Why did his grandfather Venkataswamy (Prakash Raj) distance Vasundhara from his son? Why did Raman’s father Satyam go to jail? Who is Ammu (Shrileela)? How did Raman fall in love with her? What is the relationship between Raman and Raji (Meenakshi Chaudhary)? Did Raman eventually sign the bond requested by his mother and grandfather? Has the mother lost her love? Will Vasundhara hold the hand of her son, who lost his way? The story of the film “Guntur Karma” holds the answers to these questions.

When it comes to the story of Guntur Karma, Trivikram, who revealed the strong points of the film in the first ten minutes, introduces the protagonist immediately, creating exciting moments in the theater. It must be said that Mahesh has left his mark with his entry, action, and comedic timing. In the first part, the chain of my defeat, Shrileela’s dance on a song, remained a hit. The romantic scenes between Mahesh and Shrileela created a delightful experience with excellent sarcastic dialogues. The first half concludes with a massive action episode and an emotional scene at the interval, doubling the expectations for the second half.

In the second part, the way Ravi Shankar, Ajay Ghosh, and Ajay designed the characters is enriching.

These three episodes prepare excellent entertaining material for the film. The ladies’ fight episode is another major attraction of the film. Prakash Raj and Rao Ramesh bring a powerful twist to the story. The emotional scenes between Ramya Krishna and Mahesh in the pre-climax are tear-jerking. Ultimately, Trivikram is a symbol of the film’s conclusion.

Speaking of the performances of the actors, this could be one of Mahesh Babu’s best films in his career. His timing is excellent for the dialogues written by Trivikram. The dialogues spoken in his style, romantic scenes filled with fanfare, especially with Shrileela, were splendid on the screen. Ramya Krishna, Rao Ramesh, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu, despite their shorter roles, leave an impact on the entire story. Meenakshi, Ajay, Ajay Ghosh, Ravi Shankar, Brahmaji have all designed their characters perfectly.

Talking about the technical aspects of Guntur Karma, cinematography, action, and music are powerful. Despite the teaser, trailer, and songs not making a significant impact after the release, Thaman’s background score and songs on the screen are sensational. Looking at the action scenes of this film, Mahesh Babu has done something that has never happened in the last 10 years. Manoj Paramahamsa and P.S. Vinod’s cinematography made every scene rich. Production values by Harika and Hassine Creations match the standards.

In summary, Mahesh Babu’s performance, Trivikram Srinivas’s dialogue, taking, Shrileela’s dance, glamour, make Guntur Karma a special attraction. In this film, the acting of the artists is seen as another strong aspect of the film. Powerful dialogues, chemistry between the lead pair, and the emotions of the mother make this film attractive for all audiences. This film, made as a humorous, action-packed, and family entertainer, should be watched in the theater without any doubt.
